Submitting Events

Please send the following information;
Date(s), Title of event, venue (address), contact phone number, email address and website address (if available).
We are interested in any food or drink based event, within U.K. and Ireland.

Submitting or up-dating Farmers' Markets

Please send the following information;
Day of the week/month or date(s), venue (address), contact phone number, email address and website address (if available).
If information shown on this website is incorrect or changes, please send details.

Submitting Supplier Information

Only available for local food producers, primarily farm shops or small buisnesses.
Please send the following information;
A description of your products, up to 20 words.
Availability (farm shop, farm gate, retailer, by appointment, etc.).
Business name and full address (please include postcode - as many people use sat-nav!).
Telephone number, email address and website address (all required).
The business MUST offer retail products direct to the public from own premises.
Your submission will then be evaluated, no guarantee of inclusion is offered, (though the offers of free produce or envelopes stuffed with money might help!).
Note: These listings will be changed regularly, so no guarantee of ongoing inclusion is offered.

Submitting Mail Order Supplier Information

Please send the following information;
A description of your products, up to 20 words.
Availability (Mainland, Europe, world-wide, etc.).
Business name and full address.
Telephone number, email address and website address (required).
The business must offer retail products to the public.
Your submission will then be evaluated, no guarantee of inclusion is offered, (though the offers of free produce or envelopes stuffed with money might help!).

Recipes Enquiries

Whilst I try to offer help and advice, as you might imagine I receive a lot of enquiries, I try to answer as many as I can, so please be patient!
I do have requests for specific recipes - sadly, I cannot offer such a service, why not try Google or you favourite search engine?

Submitting Recipes

The Foody is primarily interested in recipes from the U.K. and Ireland, if you wish to send one (or several), please do so by email.
Attachments are NEVER opened - due to viruses, etc.
Please send as much information as possible, including your name (as it will be included, if wished).
Do not worry about the measurement units, ounces, grams or cupfuls, they can be easily up-dated.

Submitting Links to External Websites

Please send the url and a brief overview.
If the link is to be added, you will be contacted by email.
Please note, links to commercial websites are rarely accepted.
A reciprocal link is always appreciated.

Link Exchanges

Only UK websites will be considered, which are of general interest and are not commercial sites promoting a single business.
If you operate a links only site - please do NOT ask!

Submitting Articles or Information

Please send as an email in plain text, with a statement declaring that you are the copyright holder and that The Foody has licence to reproduce it.
No payments are offered for such submissions.
An email link to you can be added, if desired.
Note: Items of an explicit, party political or religious nature are not accepted.
