Irish Coffee
Fresh Strong Black Coffee
60 ml Irish Whiskey
1 tsp Brown Sugar, or to taste
Double Cream
Grated Chocolate, (Optional)
Whisk the cream until thicked slightly.
Gently warm a glass in hot water.
Pour in the whiskey and sugar.
Add the coffee filling the glass to within 12mm (½ inch) of the top.
Gently pour the cream onto the top of the coffee, using the back of a spoon to prevent splashing.
Do not stir.
Add a sprinkling of grated chocolate to the top if desired.
