Dublin Bay Prawn, Scampi, Langoustine or Norway Lobster
Nephrops norvegicus
Description
Dublin Bay prawns are an orange-pink shellfish which look like small, slim lobsters.
Though they have little meat they are very tasty.
Cooking
Boil, steam, grill or deep fry.
Also nice eaten cold with a salad.
Season: Available all year, but best from late spring to late autumn.
